Terms

Last updated: [DATE OF PUBLICATION] (draft of 23 October 2026)

These terms apply to the Stream & Rise coaching programme and to the use of streamandrise.com. Please read them before you confirm a booking: by confirming a booking or paying an invoice, you accept them. If you are a consumer, section 5 sets out rights that these terms cannot reduce.

1. Who provides the programme, and who does what

Stream & Rise is a programme delivered jointly by two independent professionals. There is no company, partnership or joint entity behind it, and neither provider acts on behalf of the other.

  • Provider 1: Camille Jamet, self-employed professional, [STREET ADDRESS], France. SIRET [NUMBER]. [Intra-EU VAT number, or the mention “TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI” if Camille uses the VAT franchise.] [CONFIRM]
  • Provider 2: Byron Baron, operating as BtheMusic!, [STREET ADDRESS], Westmount (Montreal), Quebec, Canada. [Quebec enterprise number (NEQ), if registered.] [GST and QST registration numbers, if registered.] [CONFIRM]

Each provider works only within their own field and is responsible only for their own services and deliverables:

Provider Field Deliverables (depending on your tier)
Camille Jamet Music streaming strategy, artistic identity and positioning, direct-to-fan (D2F) strategy A streaming strategy session and a direct-to-fan strategy
Byron Baron SEO, web presence and visibility in AI answers (GEO) An online presence report, a YouTube channel optimisation template, a website monetisation guide, a keyword report and an SEO architecture proposal

Camille’s part of each tier is a module with its own learning outcomes: Foundation, artistic identity and visual world; Growth, streaming strategy and visibility; Authority, growth engines and direct-to-fan. The deliverables included in your tier are listed in the written booking confirmation you receive before you pay. [CONFIRM: deliverables per tier.] Sessions are delivered personally by Camille and Byron; neither delegates your session to anyone else. For questions about streaming, positioning or fans, Camille is your contact; for search, web and AI visibility, Byron is.

2. Application, acceptance and the start of the programme

The programme is by application only. Sending the application form does not create a contract and does not oblige either side. If the programme seems a fit, we invite you to a free 15-minute call. Each provider may decline an application; if either one declines, the programme does not go ahead.

The contract is formed when you accept in writing (email is enough) the booking confirmation stating your tier, the deliverables, the fee of each provider and the session dates. You then hold a separate contract with each provider for their own part of the programme.

In these terms, the programme start is the date and time of your first scheduled session.

3. Fees, invoices and payment

  • Price. The programme costs €1,000 for the two sessions, plus applicable taxes, the same for every tier. The price is confirmed in writing before you book.
  • Two invoices, issued together. Because the two providers are independent and based in two countries, each one invoices you directly for their own part of the programme: €500 each, before tax. You receive two invoices, issued at the same time and on the same terms. Together they make up the total price.
  • Payment due on receipt. Both invoices are payable on receipt, by the payment methods shown on each invoice. Your sessions are confirmed once both invoices are paid. [CONFIRM]
  • Each invoice stands alone. Each provider collects and, if needed, refunds only their own invoice.
  • Taxes. Each provider applies the tax rules of their own country:
    • Camille Jamet adds French VAT to her invoice where it applies. If she uses the VAT franchise, her invoice carries the mention “TVA non applicable, article 293 B du CGI” instead. [LEGAL REVIEW: VAT status and treatment of clients outside France.]
    • Byron Baron adds GST and QST to his invoice where they apply (in general, for clients in Quebec, and GST or HST elsewhere in Canada, if he is registered). Services supplied to clients outside Canada are generally zero-rated. [LEGAL REVIEW: registration status; small-supplier threshold.]
  • Late payment (professional clients). For clients acting for their business, an unpaid invoice bears late-payment interest from the day after it is due. For Camille Jamet’s invoices, French law sets this at three times the French legal interest rate, plus a fixed recovery fee of €40 (French Commercial Code, art. L441-10). [CONFIRM: rate for Byron Baron’s invoices.] [LEGAL REVIEW]
  • Bank and currency-conversion fees charged by your own bank are yours.

4. Scheduling, cancellation and refunds

Scheduling

  • The two sessions are normally held in the same week, online, in English or French. Each session lasts about [CONFIRM: 3 hours].
  • Materials needed to prepare a session are sent at least 48 hours before it.
  • If you miss a session without telling us at least [CONFIRM: 48 hours] in advance, it counts as delivered. [CONFIRM]

If you cancel

The same rules apply to every tier:

  • More than 14 days before the programme start: full refund.
  • 14 days or less before the programme start: 50% of the fees are kept and 50% are refunded.
  • After the programme has started: no refund. You can reschedule the remaining session instead. [CONFIRM: time limit for using the rescheduled session.]

These rules apply subject to section 5. If you are a consumer and the law of your place of residence gives you a better right (for example a withdrawal period, or a right to cancel without penalty), that right applies instead.

How refunds work

Send your cancellation or refund request to hello@streamandrise.com. We reply within 5 business days. Each provider refunds their own invoice, in proportion to the part of the programme they have not yet delivered, within [CONFIRM: 10] days of our reply.

If we cannot deliver

  • If a provider has to postpone a session, we agree a new date with you. If the delay comes from that provider’s unavailability, they add an extra session or deliverable at no cost to you.
  • If a provider stops taking part in the programme, that provider refunds the part of their fee for anything not yet delivered.
  • Both providers together may end the programme with a client where it is clearly not a good fit. In that case, each provider refunds the part of their fee for anything not yet delivered. [CONFIRM]

5. Your rights as a consumer

You are a consumer if you are an individual buying for purposes outside your trade, business or profession. Many musicians and music professionals book the programme for their professional activity; in that case this section does not apply, and section 4 applies as written. [LEGAL REVIEW: how to establish the client’s status at booking.]

Consumers in France and the rest of the European Union

  • You can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving a reason and without penalty (French Consumer Code, art. L221-18). Use the withdrawal form sent with your booking confirmation, or any clear written statement to hello@streamandrise.com.
  • If you want a session to take place before the 14 days are over, you must ask for it expressly. If you then withdraw, you pay only for the service provided up to that point (art. L221-25). Once a provider’s service has been fully delivered with your prior express agreement, and you have acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal, you can no longer withdraw from that provider’s part (art. L221-28).
  • In practice: if you withdraw within the 14 days, the 50% retention in section 4 does not apply to you.
  • Refunds after a withdrawal are made within 14 days, by the same means of payment (art. L221-24).

[LEGAL REVIEW: these rights apply to both providers when they direct their offer to consumers in the EU, including Byron Baron from Canada (Rome I Regulation, art. 6).]

Consumers in Quebec

  • Coaching that develops your skills or knowledge, delivered in sessions over time, is likely to be covered by sections 188 to 196 of the Consumer Protection Act. If so, you may cancel the contract at any time by sending the cancellation form attached to your contract, or any written notice.
  • If you cancel before the first session, you owe nothing (s. 194). After it, we may only charge the price of the services already delivered, plus a penalty of no more than $50 or 10% of the price of the services not yet delivered, whichever is less (s. 195). We refund what we owe within 10 days (s. 196).
  • The rules on contracts made at a distance (ss. 54.1 to 54.16) also apply, including your right to cancel within 7 days of receiving your copy of the contract if information required by law was missing.
  • In practice: for consumers in Quebec, the 50% retention and the “no refund after the start” rule in section 4 do not apply.

[LEGAL REVIEW: confirm that ss. 188 to 196 apply to this programme, and the content of the written contract and cancellation form required by s. 190.]

Consumers elsewhere

Nothing in these terms removes rights that the mandatory consumer law of your place of residence gives you.

6. What the programme is, and what it is not

Stream & Rise is a coaching and learning programme. Each provider gives you their professional guidance, the deliverables listed for your tier, and the knowledge to make your own decisions. We share only information we have checked.

Part of the work happens in the sessions; putting it into practice afterwards is yours to do. We do not run your accounts or carry out the work for you.

We do not guarantee any result: no number of streams, listeners, followers, rankings in Google or any other search engine, mentions in AI answers, playlist placements, bookings or income. These depend on your music, on the work you do after the sessions, and on decisions made by platforms and third parties we do not control. We never buy streams, followers or playlist placements.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate information in your application and before the sessions.
  • Attend the sessions on time and prepare as asked.
  • Hold the rights to the music, images and content you share with us, or have permission to share them.
  • Keep your passwords to yourself. We never need them. If we look at a platform together, we use the access-sharing tools that platform provides.
  • Decide what you put into practice, and when. You remain responsible for your accounts, your spending and your choices.

8. Intellectual property and use of the materials

  • Who owns what. The session materials (reports, templates, guides, checklists, slides and recordings) belong to the provider who created them. Materials created jointly belong to both providers. Our methods and know-how remain ours.
  • Your right to use them. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the materials for your own music project, or within your own organisation if you booked as a team, label, venue or school.
  • Sharing with credit is allowed. You may share the materials, unchanged, with the people you work with or publicly, as long as you credit Stream & Rise and the provider who created them.
  • Resale needs our written approval. You may not sell or license the materials to anyone without the prior written approval of both providers and a commission agreed in advance.
  • Repurposing needs our written approval. You may not adapt the materials into your own course, product, workshop or paid content without the prior written approval of both providers.
  • Your work stays yours. You keep all rights to your music, your images and your content. You allow us to use what you share with us only to prepare and deliver your sessions.

[CONFIRM: “sharing with credit” read as covering both private and public sharing of unchanged materials.]

9. Confidentiality and testimonials

We keep confidential what you tell us about your project, your numbers and your plans, and share it only between the two providers to prepare your sessions. We will mention you, quote you or show your results only with your prior written consent, addressed to both providers. You can withdraw that consent for future uses at any time.

10. Responsibility and liability

  • Each provider answers for their own work. Each provider is responsible for their own services, deliverables and conduct. Neither provider is responsible for the acts or omissions of the other.
  • If you are a consumer, each provider is liable to you as the law of your place of residence provides. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes that liability. (In France, a clause that reduces a consumer’s right to compensation is prohibited; in Quebec, a merchant cannot exclude liability for their own acts: Consumer Protection Act, s. 10.)
  • If you book for your business, each provider’s total liability is limited to the fees you paid that provider for the programme, and neither is liable for indirect losses such as lost income or lost opportunities. This limit does not apply to intentional or gross fault, or to bodily or moral injury (Civil Code of Québec, art. 1474), or wherever the law does not allow it.
  • Events beyond our control. If an event beyond a provider’s reasonable control prevents a session, the session is postponed. Section 4 (“If we cannot deliver”) applies.

[LEGAL REVIEW]

11. Personal information

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. In short:

  • For clients in France and the rest of the European Union, Camille Jamet is the data controller.
  • Byron Baron is the person in charge of the protection of personal information under Quebec law (Law 25), reachable at hello@streamandrise.com.
  • We keep client information for no more than 3 years after our last exchange, unless the law requires us to keep accounting records longer.
  • We answer requests to access, correct or delete your information within 30 days.

Our host routes some data through servers in the United States; section 6 of the Privacy Policy explains how those transfers are protected. [LEGAL REVIEW: data processing agreement between the providers to be signed before the first client; Partnership Agreement Art. 10 to be amended, since it assumes no US routing.]

12. Governing law and disputes

Camille Jamet’s part of the programme, and her invoice, are governed by French law. Byron Baron’s part, and his invoice, are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of your place of residence still apply, including, where the law allows it, your right to bring a claim before the courts where you live.

If something goes wrong, write to us first at hello@streamandrise.com; we reply within 5 business days. If we cannot settle it:

  • consumers in France and the European Union may use, free of charge, the consumer mediator Camille Jamet has joined: [LEGAL REVIEW: name and website of the mediator; mandatory in France, Consumer Code art. L612-1];
  • consumers in Quebec may contact the Office de la protection du consommateur.

13. Language

These terms exist in French and English. Clients in Quebec receive the French version first and may then choose to contract in English. For clients in Quebec and in France, the French version prevails. [LEGAL REVIEW: Charter of the French language, rules for contracts of adhesion.]

14. Site publisher and host

  • Publishers: Camille Jamet and Byron Baron, as identified in section 1. Contact: hello@streamandrise.com.
  • Publication director: [CONFIRM: name].
  • Host: Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. [VERIFY]

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force on the day you accept your booking confirmation applies to that booking.
